Varanasi: A new degree course is going to start at Sampurnanand Sanskrit University, Dharmanagari Kashi. Its name is – Hindu Studies. Through the entire curriculum woven around the ideology of Hindutva, such youth will be prepared who can tell the characteristics of Hindutva in the world, not the country. This degree will be awarded under the two-year course of MA. The Ministry of Education of India will also create grants and posts for this. Its specialty is that while students of all religions including Muslims, Christians will get admission in this, students from other countries including Pakistan can also take admission in this course.
What will be taught to the students through four semesters in two years, has been prepared. The main focus will be Hindu Studies. It will be taught how Hinduism emerged. All the other religions that have come out, how are they related to Hindutva. The first paper will be the Sanskrit introduction. In this, proof, debate tradition will also be taught. Along with this, the tradition of Kashi’s debate will also be included. Also according to all religions, how did knowledge develop? How do western countries decide the element in the second semester? The definition of elements according to all sects, their characteristics, what Jain, Buddhist, Islam, and biblical traditions say, will also be taught. In the third semester, there will be a full mention of what is the system of bondage and salvation in all religions from previous birth. Not only this, the religious, as well as scientific importance of the fasts recited in folk traditions, will also be explained.
Students with Bachelor’s degree can take admission
Apart from this, Natya Shastra will also be included. The fourth semester will be started with Mahabharata and it will be told how the characters of Mahabharata are authentic even today. Ramayana will be taught in the first semester. Prof. Hareram Tripathi, Vice-Chancellor of Sampurnanand Sanskrit Vishwavidyalaya, told that what are the elements in Islam, which are related to Hindutva, that will also be understood. The Vice-Chancellor says that Hindutva teaches the art of living. The most important part of this course is the Vedic tradition. Any student who has a bachelor’s degree can take admission in it. Apart from the country, foreign students will be given admission. Be it from any religion. The aim is to prepare such youth who can go outside the country and tell about Hindutva to the whole world.
