New Delhi: The Ashok Gehlot government of Rajasthan has imposed Section 144 till March 21 in view of the increasing cases of Coronavirus in Jodhpur. The number of 100 people has been fixed for weddings and public functions. Shops, schools, and colleges of only the essentials will be open. This information has been given in the statement issued by Jodhpur Police. Meanwhile, Madhya Pradesh has decided to conduct thermal scanning of people coming from neighboring districts in view of rising cases of coronavirus in the neighboring state of Maharashtra. Simultaneously, the Madhya Pradesh government called a meeting of the Disaster Management Committee with the collectors of districts adjoining Bhopal, Indore, Hoshangabad, Betul, Seoni, Chhindwara, Balaghat, Barwani, Khandwa, Khargone, Burhanpur, Alirajpur, and Maharashtra regarding coronavirus infection. No home isolation in Buldhana, Maharashtra
Talking about Maharashtra, according to Dinesh Geete, ADM of Buldhana, restrictions have been imposed in Buldhana city, Chikhali, Khamgaon, Deulgaon Raja, and Malkapur region. For the past few days, cases of coronavirus are continuously increasing in these areas. Dinesh Geete said that from 8 am to 3 pm only shops of essential commodities will open and strict action will be taken against those who do not follow the guidelines. In view of the increasing cases in Maharashtra, the Gujarat government has decided to screen people coming from the adjoining districts of Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh for investigation of coronavirus cases. RT-PCR from Kerala to Karnataka needs negative
On the other hand, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said on Monday that the Karnataka government has made the negative report of the RT-PCR test mandatory for people coming from Kerala. However, the DGP of Karnataka has assured that vehicles carrying essential goods will be exempted. He said that most of the routes to Karnataka on the state’s borders are closed and the Central Government will be informed about this.
