In such a situation, now heavy rains have started in many states. But there are still many such states, where good rains are still awaited. Meanwhile, today the Meteorological Department has informed us that there is a possibility of severe rain during the next 5 days in Gujarat State, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, and Yanam, Telangana, Coastal and South Interior Karnataka, Kerala and Mahe.
Waterlogging in Mumbai
On the other hand, due to heavy rains in Mumbai, the capital of Maharashtra, life here has been completely disturbed. Due to heavy rains here, there has been water logging in the Sion area, due to which people are facing problems. At the same time, waterlogging has been seen on the roads in many parts of Mumbai after heavy rains.
What is the condition of other states?
According to IMDB, at present, there are chances of heavy rain in Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Kerala, and Mahe for the next five days. On the other hand, extremely heavy rainfall is very likely at isolated places over the South Gujarat region and Ghat areas of Madhya Maharashtra on July 8 and over Konkan and Goa on July 7 and 8, 2022. At the same time, according to the Meteorological Department, there are chances of heavy rains in many states including Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Kerala, Goa, and Chhattisgarh, due to which an alert has been issued here.
Simultaneously, Chhattisgarh, Interior Odisha, and Coastal Andhra Pradesh are currently receiving light to moderate rain with one or two heavy rains. On the other hand, if we talk about Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Saurashtra and Kutch, Interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, West Rajasthan, Punjab, rest of North India, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and Delhi NCR, then there is light rain in different parts at present.
