Kyiv: Harjit Singh, a youth injured in shelling in Ukraine, has accused the Indian embassy of not helping. Releasing the video, the hospitalized student said, “No support has been received from the Indian Embassy yet. I am trying to contact them, every day they say we will do something but till now no help.
The student further said, “This is the incident of February 27. We were 3 people in a cab on our way to the 3rd checkpoint where we were asked to return due to security reasons. While coming back, several bullets were fired at our car, which hit me with multiple bullets.”
Taking a jibe at the government, Harjeet said, “It doesn’t matter if you send the charter (aircraft) after death… God has given me a second life, I want to live it. I request the embassy to get me out of here, provide me wheelchair-like facilities, help me with the documents.”
