New Delhi: A hearing was held in the Supreme Court today on the withdrawal of new agricultural laws on the farmers’ movement on different borders in Delhi. The court has asked Solicitor General Tushar Mehta to form a committee to resolve the deadlock. In this, representatives of the Central Government will be present along with the Indian Farmers Union and other farmer organizations. The court has issued notices to the Central Government, Haryana Government, and Punjab Government in this matter and sought answers. There will be a hearing again on Thursday.
Rishabh Sharma, who has studied law against farmers’ protests on the Delhi border, has filed. This petition has demanded the removal of farmers from the borders of Delhi. The petition says that gathering people in this way can increase the risk of corona virus infection. The petition further states that it is necessary to remove the farmers from the Delhi border, as roads are being blocked by this. Emergency and medical service are also being disrupted.

Let us know what the Supreme Court said on the application to remove farmers from the roads:
The petitioner’s counsel GS Mani said that the court had said during the Shaheen Bagh case that roads should not be jammed. On repeatedly citing Shaheen Bagh, the Chief Justice interrupted the lawyer. He said how many people had blocked the way there? Exemplification cannot be given in cases of law and order.
The court said that it seems that the solution between the government and the farmers does not seem to be resolved at the moment. The Supreme Court said that the government’s talks will fail and it will soon become a national issue. We will solve the issue by forming a committee.
In the court, advocate GS Mani said that I come from a family of farmers, so have appealed. On which the court asked him about the land, the lawyer said that his land is in Tamil Nadu. On which the Chief Justice said that the situation in Tamil Nadu cannot be weighed with Punjab-Haryana.
The Supreme Court said that they would listen to the farmers’ organizations, and also asked the government why the agreement had not been reached so far. Now notice has been given to the farmers’ organizations on behalf of the court, the court says that such issues should be settled at the earliest.
The Supreme Court said that we will also listen to the agitating organizations tomorrow. Will make a committee. Along with the agitating organizations, there will also be people from the government and the rest of the farmers’ organizations in the country.
