New Delhi: Big news is coming about Corona vaccination in the country. From April 1, everyone above 45 years will be able to get the Corona vaccine. Union Minister Prakash Javadekar (Prakash Javadekar) has announced this. He has said that there is plenty of vaccines available in the country. There is no shortage of corona vaccines. Explain that till now only vaccines were being given to people with serious diseases between 45 and 60 years.

State Chief Minister Amarinder Singh is worried about this. Ravil Thukral, Advisor to the Chief Minister, has appealed to Prime Minister Modi that people below 60 years should also be included in the vaccination program. Before Punjab, Delhi, Maharashtra has also raised the demand to vaccinate the youth.
More than 40 thousand cases of corona infection again, 199 people died
Coronavirus cases are rising once again in the country. So far, 4.72 crore corona vaccine supplements have been given in the country. According to the data released through the Union Health Ministry, a total of 4,72,07,134 vaccine doses have been given till 7 pm on Monday.
According to the information of the Ministry of Health, on Monday, 3,34,367 beneficiaries who are suffering from serious illness over the age of 45 years, 13,07,614 beneficiaries above 60 years of age have been given the first dose of vaccine. At the same time, 40,976 healthcare and 72,153 frontline workers have been given the first dose of vaccine, while 44,728 healthcare and 1,65,797 frontline workers have been given the second dose of corona vaccine.
When was the vaccination drive started?
The first phase of the vaccination campaign in India started on 16 January 2021. In the first phase, vaccines were given to health workers i.e. doctors, nurses, paramedics, and health-related people. In addition, the frontline workers i.e. policemen, paramilitary forces, and military personnel were also vaccinated. The second dose of vaccine has also been given to 14 lakh people. Then from March 1, the second phase of vaccination started. In the second phase, people are now getting vaccinated. Many ministers including Prime Minister Narendra Modi have got vaccinated in this phase. The government aims to provide vaccines to 300 million people by July.
In the last 24 hours, 40 thousand 715 corona infections have been identified. On the previous day, 29 thousand 785 patients were cured. On Monday, 199 people lost their lives with this virus. Since March 15, a steady increase in corona cases is being recorded. In the last 24 hours, the number of active cases increased by 10,676. Right now 3 lakh 45 thousand 377 patients are being treated.
According to the Health Ministry, 1 crore 16 lakh 86 thousand 796 people have been caught in the epidemic so far in the country. Out of these, 1 crore 11 lakh 81 thousand 253 patients have been cured, while 1 lakh 60 thousand 166 people have lost their lives. So far, 4 crores 84 lakh 94 thousand 594 people have been vaccinated.
