It is also mentioned in the document that ICMR has prepared a standard protocol for the successful supply of corona vaccines through drones. Along with this, ICMR is also working on preparing a model of the drone used to deliver the vaccine in inaccessible areas.
According to the information, these drones will be able to fly directly in the sky and can carry goods weighing 4 kg. Along with this, they will also be able to bring the vaccine to the designated center and come back to the station or center from there. The take-off and landing of the drone will be based on the guidelines of DGCA. It will not have a parachute-based delivery system.
