Dr. Madhuri Patel said that the nearest gynecological obstetrician doctor can also examine it. Whereas after the arrival of 5G technology, its investigation will be accessible in the village and countryside. But this will require an awareness campaign. Dr. Neerja Bhatla, Head of the Department of AIIMS said that this disease is caused by Human Papilloma Virus or HPV. After its symptoms appear, it completely converts into cervical cancer after about 10 years.

If it is screened in time, it can help prevent the symptom from becoming full-fledged cancer. Due to this the pain and cost of treatment can also be avoided. Also, thousands of lives can be saved. She said that at present there is a three-dose medicine for this disease in India. But a lot of work is also being done on single-dose medicines.

It will soon be available at less than half the price before. Work is going on on this. This disease can be effectively controlled by timely screening. In such a situation, the government should consider starting a national program related to this.
