
New Delhi: The Central Government (Modi Cabinet) has decided to give bonuses to Railway Employees. Along with this, one time grant has been approved for oil marketing companies. Union Minister Anurag Thakur has given information about the decisions taken in the cabinet.
After the cabinet meeting, Union Minister Anurag Thakur said that the government has announced a bonus of 78 days to railway employees. He said, “A productivity-linked bonus of Rs 1,832 crore will be given to 11.27 lakh railway employees. Its maximum limit will be Rs 17,951.
PM-Divine
The cabinet approved the new scheme Pradhan Mantri Vikas Pahal (PM-Divine) for the North Eastern Region for the remaining four years of the 15th Finance Commission from 2022-23 to 2025-26. He said that this is a central sector scheme, which will be funded 100% by the Centre. It will be implemented by the Ministry of Development of the North Eastern Region (Donor).
Thakur said that its objective is to fund the infrastructure in a proper manner and it will be implemented according to the spirit of PM Gati Shakti. Through this, social sector projects will be supported.

Multi-State Co-operative Societies (Amendment) Bill
Union Minister Anurag Thakur further informed that the Union Cabinet has approved the Multi-State Co-operative Societies (Amendment) Bill, 2022, which seeks to amend the Multi-State Co-operative Societies Act, 2002. This will include the provisions of the 97th Constitutional Amendment.
Grants are given to oil distribution companies
He said that the cabinet has given a one-time grant of Rs 22,000 crore to the distribution companies so that despite the increase in the price of LPG in the international market, the loss was caused due to not increasing the price of LPG in the domestic market in the same proportion. can be compensated. Anurag Thakur said that it has been decided to build a Container Terminal and a Multi-Purpose Cargo Berth under Deen Dayal Port Authority at Kandla, Gujarat. It will cost about Rs 6,000 crore.
