New Delhi: Gold worth about two crore rupees has been recovered from the toilet of the plane at Terminal-2 of Delhi Airport. Customs officials posted at the airport confirmed this. The customs officer told that 4 gold biscuits have been found in the toilet of the international flight, whose value has been estimated at around two crore rupees. The recovered gold has been kept sealed. Officials told that the aircraft runs on an international route. The flight had also taken a domestic flight after returning from a foreign trip. After which the aircraft reached IGI Terminal-2 at around 10 am today.
While cleaning the toilet, something stuck in the closed packet was shown. After which the staff informed the officials of the Customs Department.
