New Delhi: Gold prices in the capital Delhi saw a tremendous fall on Thursday. There was a slight decrease in the price of silver. According to HDFC Securities, the gold price fell by Rs 1,492 to Rs 52,819 per tola on Thursday. It is worth mentioning that the closing price of gold was Rs 54,311 per 10 grams in the previous session. Bajar experts believe that the impact of the reduction in gold prices internationally is being seen in the local bullion market.

Silver prices also fall slightly
HDFC Securities said that silver prices continued to fall in the capital. On Thursday also, the price of silver fell by Rs 1,476 to Rs 67,924 per kg in Delhi. At the time of closing of bullion market in the previous session, silver was at Rs 69,400 per kg. According to HDFC Securities Senior Analyst (commodities), gold prices continued to fall on Thursday after the US Federal Open Market Committee strengthened the dollar after minutes.

Gold was trending at $ 1,927 an ounce, falling on global markets. On the other hand, silver was marginally higher at $ 26.71 an ounce. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold for delivery in October declined by Rs 644, or 1.22 percent to 51,978 per 10 grams. It traded for 15,439 lots.

Silver for September delivery on MCX is trending at Rs 66,951 per kg, down by Rs 1,012, or 1.49 percent. It has traded for 10,166 lots.
