
Kyiv: The pilot is known as the ‘Ghost of Kyiv’, the tooth-picker of Russia that invaded Ukraine, has died. It is being claimed that this Ukrainian pilot has shot down more than 40 Russian planes in the war so far. Britain’s media portal The Times of London has claimed to have disclosed his identity. According to the portal, the pilot’s name was Major Stephen Tarabalka. For the feat he accomplished at the age of 29, he has been awarded the highest bravery award of Ukraine and the title Hero of Ukraine posthumously.
Known as the Ghost of Kyiv or the Ghost of Kyiv, this pilot shot down 10 Russian fighter planes on the very first day of the war. After this, he was being discussed all over the world. According to The Times, Major Stephen was born in Korolyvka, a small village in western Ukraine. His family was a working family. Stephen had the ghost of becoming a pilot since childhood. Growing up, he also achieved this position.
In the Russo-Ukraine war, Major Stephen inflicted severe injuries on the enemy by flying a MiG-29 fighter plane. As soon as the war started, they destroyed 10 fighter planes of the Russian Air Force. Due to such a big blow to a huge army like Russia at the hands of a single pilot, the Ukrainian soldiers reached the heights of courage and gave a tough fight to the Russian soldiers. According to The Times, on March 13, Major Stephen once again went out with a MiG-29 to shoot down Russian planes. But he was surrounded by many enemies. His plane was attacked and Stephen was martyred while fighting.

Quoting his family, The Times reported that Major Stephen has been awarded the Golden Star, Ukraine’s highest bravery award. He has also been given the title of Hero of Ukraine. Now his helmet and glasses will be put up for auction in London. Stephen’s family members say that they have not been given any official information from the Ukrainian army about his last flight. It was only said that he was on a mission, and he carried it out successfully.
