Now this woman has appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for help and shelter. She has sought her safety and shelter from Prime Minister Narendra Modi as she and her child are receiving death threats in Pakistan. In an emotional video, the victim Maria Tahir said, I am a victim of gang rape. For the last seven years, we have been fighting for justice. The police, governments, and judiciary of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir have failed to get me justice till now. That’s why I am asking you for shelter.
This demand from PM Modi
She further said in the video, “Through this video, I want to appeal to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to please allow me to come to India.” My children are being threatened with death. The police and politician Choudhary Tariq Farooq will kill me and my child at any time. That’s why I request Prime Minister Narendra Modi to please give me shelter and protection in India. Maria is wandering from door to door to get strict punishment for those involved in the heinous crime in 2015. Earlier, in his first video, he told about this painful incident. She names the people who committed the crime in that video.
Harassment for complaining
She says. Haroon Rashid, Mamoon Rashid, Jameel Shafi, Waqas Ashraf, Sanam Haroon, and three others had committed the crime against me. Maria went to the local police after the incident but they did not get justice. After this, he wrote many letters to the administration. Even the Chief Justice of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir wrote a letter about it but in return, he had to bear the brunt. She was harassed for being a married woman. Most of the women in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir are afraid to complain after rape because they are afraid that they will be boycotted by society.
