New Delhi: Satya Pal Malik, who served as the last Governor of Jammu and Kashmir before it was reorganized into two Union Territories, died at RML Hospital in Delhi following a prolonged illness. Malik, aged 77, had been under medical care for several weeks, sources confirmed.
