The fast of Hartalika Teej will be observed on 21 August this time. On this day, women will fast for their husband’s long life and happy married life. Hartalika is celebrated on Tritiya of Shuklapaksha of Teej Bhadrapada. The worship of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati has special significance on this day. In this fast, women unite in their neighborhood or relatives’ houses and temples and perform fast, worship etc. Also, women wake up all night and do hymns to the Lord, but due to the corona epidemic this time temples will not be organized.

The place of worship is decorated with flowers. The statue of Lord Shiva, Goddess Parvati and Lord Ganesha is installed by placing a banana leaf on it. Also, all the items of worship like honey and Bel patra are offered to Goddess Parvati. Jagran is done at night. Also the story is heard. In the morning after Aarti, Mata Parvati is offered vermilion(sindur) and the fast is opened by offering Halwa.
