
Baghdad: Five Iraqi civilians were killed and two were seriously injured by a rocket fired near Baghdad rocket attack in Iraq. The Iraqi army gave this information. This is the first time in the past several months that a rocket attack has caused civilian casualties. The rocket international airport (Baghdad airport) was targeted but fell on a residential house nearby.

The dead include three children and two women. Two other children were seriously injured in the attack and the house was completely destroyed. The attack was carried out from al-Jihad, located in the neighborhood of Baghdad. The statement issued by the army called the attack a “cowardly crime” committed by “criminal gangs”.
