Bhagalpur: A massive fire broke out in a VIP guest room at Bihar’s Bhagalpur railway station, according to news agency ANI. The cause of the fire is not known.

As soon as the information was received, the fire department reached the spot and the work of extinguishing the fire is going on. Officials further said that there was no immediate report of any casualty or injury in the fire. The fire started at 12.30 pm on Sunday.

Railway official Satendra Kumar said a sudden fire broke out in the special guest room of Bhagalpur railway station. Officials said that as soon as the news of the fire was received, five fire engines reached the spot and started extinguishing the fire.

The fire was brought under control after some time, Kumar said. No one was injured in the fire. The cause of the fire could not be ascertained. All the passengers were taken to safe places, the official said.
