Mumbai: The NCB is involved in the investigation of the drugs case that came to light in the case of the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. Agisilaos Demetriades, brother of Gabriella Demetriades, partner of recently arrested Arjun Rampal, has been remanded in judicial custody by the Special NDPS Court. The court has also extended the judicial custody of Shovik Chakraborty, brother of actress Rhea Chakraborty, till November 3.
Agisilaos was arrested by the NCB from Lonavala on Saturday. NCB recovered 0.8 charas from them. According to sources, during a search of Agisilaos’ flat in Khar, the NCB found the tablet Alprazolam, which is banned in the country.
Meanwhile, Shovik was arrested on September 4. Shovik was arrested on the basis of a statement from Abdel Basit Parihar, who was arrested on charges of drug paddling in the case. The statement claimed that he used to take drugs from Zaid Vilatra and Kaijan Ibrahim.
The name came up in the investigation of the drug peddlers network
According to media reports, the agency has also recovered some evidence of allegedly tracking its supply chain. Agicilaos, 30, is also linked to other drug peddlers who have been charged in previous drug cases. His call data records show he was in contact with drug peddlers Anuj Keswani and Dwayne Fernandes, who were arrested in the first case.
According to NCB sources, Agicilaos Demetrius spent a lot of time in India and was also involved in marketing. According to the report, other electronic devices show that Demetrius was in contact with Deepesh Sawant and Sushant’s house manager Samuel Miranda. Tell that, Sawant and Miranda were arrested along with Riya and Shovik in the drugs case. He was recently granted bail along with Riya.
