Then the emergency landing of the aircraft was done at Thiruvananthapuram airport. Immediately after this, a complete emergency was declared at Thiruvananthapuram International Airport. A flight from Calicut to Dammam was diverted due to a hydraulic equipment failure. According to airport sources, the flight landed at the airport at 12.15 pm.
Sources say that the rear part of Air-India Express IX 385 flight (Air India Express flight emergency landing) carrying 182 passengers hit the runway while taking off from Calicut International Airport in the morning. It is said that after extracting fuel over the Arabian Sea for a safe landing, the aircraft landed at the airport. During this, the airport management declared a complete emergency.
