Gwalior: What is not there in MP is less. And what the power company doesn’t do, they do little. Now he has done such an amazing thing that no one can even imagine. The infamous electricity company broke all its own records for the mess in electricity bills. He handed over a bill of Rs 34 billion 19 crores 53 lakh 25 thousand to a consumer, not of two lakhs. Recently, seeing the bill, the blood pressure of the landlord’s wife and father increased. The father had to be admitted to the hospital.
What will happen if your electricity bill comes in thousands of lakhs, not crores of rupees, but billions of rupees? can be easily understood. Your head will be dizzy. Something similar happened too. The consumer’s blood pressure increased and his father, who is a heart patient, had to be admitted to the hospital.
34 billion electricity bill
This shocking case is of Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh. Priyanka Gupta’s house is in Shiv Vihar Colony, behind the Metro Tower in the posh area of the city. Priyanka is a housewife and her husband Sanjeev Kanakne is a lawyer by profession. Sanjeev says that this time his electricity bill came to 34 billion 19 crores 53 lakh 25 thousand rupees. Seeing this, his wife Priyanka’s BP increased and her father Rajendra Prasad Gupta, who is a heart patient, had to be admitted to the hospital due to increased blood pressure.
This was the fault
Consumer Priyanka Gupta’s husband Sanjeev told that after the bill, a message also came on the mobile for his payment. When Sanjeev Kanakne complained to the Electricity Department, it was told that this disturbance has happened due to not making the temporary connection permanent. More than two years have passed since he bought the house. Forced to consume electricity at a commercial rate.
There was a stir in the electricity department…
After all the rounds of the electricity office, Sanjeev has now breathed a sigh of relief because his bill has been revised by the electricity company, which has now been fixed at around Rs 1300 only. In this regard, Nitin Manglik, General Manager of Electricity Electricity Company, says that this is a human error. Action has been taken against the concerned officials. Energy Minister Pradhuman Singh Tomar said that this mistake has been rectified, while action has also been taken.
