New Delhi: Seeing the decrease in corona infection in the country, the Central Election Commission has issued new guidelines for the elections to be held in five states. Under which political parties can now hold election rallies with 50 percent. At the same time, increasing the time of election campaign, it has been made from 6 am to 10 pm.
According to the commission, the election campaign can now be done between 6 am to 10 pm instead of 8 am to 8 pm. The Election Commission on January 8, while announcing the polling schedule for Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Goa, Punjab, and Manipur, had banned direct rallies, roadshows, and padayatra in view of the rise in the number of COVID-19 cases.
