The 94th Academy Awards kicked off on Sunday and with the opening, the first eight awards were presented at the Dolby Theater ahead of its broadcast. The Dolby Theater was completely full at 7 pm. This year too, like every year, there is fierce competition among the Oscar nominees. The broadcasting of the show has started in India as well. This year Regina Hall, Amy Schumer, Wanda Skyes are hosting the Oscar Awards show.
The first award was given to Dune for Best Sound. It was Denis Villeneuve’s first award for a science-fiction film. The film has received awards in the cinematography and visual effects category. Check out the list of winners here-
