New Delhi: The US space agency NASA has sent the rover Perseverance Rover as part of its ambitious mission to research the planet Mangan. This research vehicle has been successful in landing on the surface of Mars. A large team of scientists has worked to bring the rover percussion to Mars. There is also an Indian American-origin female scientist in this team. His name is Dr. Swati Mohan. He has worked on the attitude control and landing system of the rover throughout the mission. Swati Mohan has also been involved in many NASA missions earlier.
According to the information, Dr. Swati Mohan had moved from India to America when she was one year old. He spent most of his childhood in Washington DC’s metro area North Virginia. When she was 9 years old, she first saw the science fiction film Star Trek. She was very impressed with this space. She also wanted to do this and wanted to find new things in the depths of space.
She wanted to become a pediatrician by the age of 16. However, he decided to do engineering. Dr. Mohan earned a bachelor’s degree in science in mechanical and aerospace engineering from Cornell University and completed an MS and PhD from MIT in Aeronautics / Astronautics.
