New Delhi: The doors of Baba Badrinath opened at 7:10 am today. With this, the portals of the four Dhams of the Char Dham Yatra have now opened completely. It may be known that before this, the doors of Yamotri-Gangotri, then Kedarnath, and now Badrinath Dham were also opened for the devotees.
The doors of Badrinath Dham located in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand were opened for the devotees at 7.10 am on Thursday morning. During this, a large number of devotees made Baba Badri huge. Before the opening of the doors, flowers were also showered on the devotees from the helicopter. The temple has been decorated with 15 quintal flowers by the district administration.
As soon as the doors opened, Rawal ji, the chief priest of Badrinath Dham, first entered the temple premises. Along with this, Kuber ji’s doli also reached the temple premises from the south gate. On the other hand, many devotees were also waiting for the doors to open. When the doors opened, a huge crowd of devotees thronged for darshan.
On the other hand, thousands of devotees reached the Dham last Wednesday itself to have darshan of Baba Badri. On the other hand today huge enthusiasm was seen among all the devotees and all were very happy especially to witness the opening of the doors of Badri Vishal. Today the entire temple of Baba Badrinath is decorated with about 15 quintals of flowers.
Significantly, like the last time, this time also at the time of opening of the doors of Badrinath, the first aarti of God will be performed in the name of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. At the same time, it is snowing and raining in Badrinath. However, despite these difficulties, there is no decrease in the enthusiasm of the devotees.
Please inform that the Char Dham Yatra has started. Earlier this journey had started on 22nd April. On this day the doors of Yamunotri and Gangotri Dham were opened, after which the doors of Kedarnath Dham were also opened on April 25, and today the doors of Lord Badrinath Dham have been opened with worship and complete rituals. During this, the temple is decorated with flowers like a bride.
In the year 2022, on December 19, the doors of Badrinath Dham were closed and with this, the Chardham Yatra also ended. Please inform that, last year 2022, 17 lakh 60 thousand 646 devotees visited Baba Badri Vishal. Be aware that every year the Char Dham Yatra begins with the opening of the doors of Gangotri and Yamunotri and ends with the closing of the doors of Baba Badri.
