Since Trump’s election defeat (US Presidential Election 2020), his followers on Twitter have been steadily declining. According to Factbase, a website that monitors Trump’s public comments and speeches, Trump has recently lost more than 1 million followers, and newly elected Joe Biden has gained a million followers.

Trump has been losing thousands of followers every day since November 18. CNN reporter Brian Stelter tweeted that Twitter followers are certainly not the most important metric in the world, but they are still important. For the first time since 2015, Trump is losing his Twitter followers.
