Aligarh: During the quarantine stay in the hotel in Aligarh district of Uttar Pradesh, the matter of eating food worth 50 lakhs by doctors is in the headlines. This shocking case came to the fore in the Board of Review of Corona Affairs held in the Commissionerate on Tuesday. In the Divisional Review here, as soon as the Board of Health Department presented a bill for quarantine 84 doctors to eat food worth Rs 50 lakh in 28 days, then all the officials including Additional Chief Secretary (Medical Education) Dr. Rajneesh Dube were present in the meeting. He also refused to pay this hefty bill of food by the doctors. He said that in the future, payment can be made on the basis of diet on 50 rupees only.
50 rupees can be paid according to diet
Additional Chief Secretary Dr. Rajneesh Dubey, citing the mandate, refused to pay the food bill of Rs 50 lakhs eaten by 84 doctors in 28 days. He said that he can pay 50 rupees per diet.

Please tell that when the outbreak of corona started in the city, a team of doctors was called from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College in Lucknow and other places. Doctors were quarantined in metropolitan hotels. On March 20, 42 doctors of the first batch were isolated for 14 days at Hotel Palm Tree and Vikas Hotel. After this, 42 doctors of the next batch were accommodated in Hotel Galaxy and Hotel Ali Inn. In the 28-day period, the bill from the catering of the doctors to the stay has come to Rs 50 lakh. Accordingly, about Rs 2126 was spent daily by each doctor. Now JNMC is engaged in the health department and administration regarding the payment of this bill.
