A big example of this has been seen recently in Amritsar, Punjab. Here a flight going to Singapore took off without taking 35 passengers. After this, the passengers created a lot of ruckus at the airport. However, the airline company says that they had informed the passengers about the changed time through email but they did not reach the airport on time.
Let us tell you that this is the second such incident in this month when the flight took off without taking passengers. The Airlines Regulation Authority Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) is taking action against the airline companies after one such negligence case came to the fore by the airline companies.
What is the whole matter?
Actually, on Wednesday, January 18, a flight of Scoot Airline was scheduled to leave from Amritsar for Singapore at 7.55 pm. But the flight took off in the afternoon five hours before its scheduled time. Because of this, about 35 passengers kept waiting for the flight at the airport itself. When the passengers came to know about this, they created a ruckus at the airport, holding the airline company responsible.
What did the airline company say?
Airline company clarified on the incident after the passengers left behind created ruckus at the airport, saying that the company had issued an e-mail to the passengers before take-off, in which they were informed about the changed time of the flight. . Many passengers read that e-mail and reached the airport at the right time and the flight took off with those passengers in the afternoon itself.
Second such incident in the same month
Please inform that this is the second incident of take-off of the flight leaving the passengers at the airport in the same month. Earlier on January 10, GoFirst airline’s flight from Bengaluru to Delhi took off without taking 55 passengers. After this incident, the airline company apologized to the passengers and promised free tickets on all domestic flights for the next one year. After investigating the matter, the company had also taken action against some employees. On the other hand, the company was given two weeks’ time to file a reply by issuing a show cause notice on behalf of the DCGA.
