Mumbai: According to the news, the Modi government is soon working on a plan to run bullet trains on various rail routes. In this sequence, now Indian Railways has proposed to run a bullet train between Nagpur to Mumbai (Nagpur to Mumbai Bullet Train) in Maharashtra. Be aware that this huge distance of 766 km between these two cities can be covered in just 3.5 hours by bullet train. It has been proposed to build it along the Samridhi Expressway.
Its speed will be 350 km per hour
It is also believed that the speed of the bullet train running between Nagpur and Mumbai will be 350 km per hour. At present, this distance of 766 km is covered in 12 hours. In this regard, Union Minister Raosaheb Danve said on Saturday that the detailed project report (DPR) of the proposed Mumbai-Nagpur High-Speed Rail Corridor, commonly known as the bullet train project, will be submitted by the end of this month or by the first week of March. Will be ready.
Work on DPR going on
Along with this, Union Minister Raosaheb Danve said that the Center has run 1,900 Kisan Rail services to help the farmers and the agriculture sector, in which 50% subsidy is given. An amount of Rs 90 crore has already been allocated in this regard. He also said that the work of DPR of bullet train for seven corridors is going on.
On the other hand, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has said that, under this project, there will be no land acquisition from Nagpur Up to Igatpuri as it will run at par with Samridhi Expressway. In such a situation, land acquisition will be required only between Igatpuri to Mumbai.
