Mumbai: The country’s state-of-the-art train Vande Bharat is going to start on 30 September between Mumbai Central and Gandhinagar on the Western Railway. PM Modi will flag off Vande Bharat Express from Gandhinagar Capital Railway Station. The train will leave Ahmedabad at 2 PM during the inauguration and reach Mumbai Central at 7.35 PM. This train will stop at Vadodara and Surat stations.

The regular operation of Vande Bharat Superfast Express will start on October 1. The train will run 6 days a week except for Sunday. 20901 Mumbai Central – Gandhinagar Capital Vande Bharat Superfast Express will depart Mumbai Central at 6.10 am and arrive at Gandhinagar Capital at 12.30 am. In return direction 20902 Gandhinagar Capital – Mumbai Central Vande Bharat Superfast Express will depart Gandhinagar Capital at 2.05 PM and arrive at Mumbai Central at 8.35 PM. The train will stop at Surat, Vadodara, and Ahmedabad stations in both directions.

6 special trains between Mumbai-Jayanagar
On the other hand, to clear the extra rush of passengers during festivals, Railways will run 6 special trains between Mumbai and Jaynagar. 05530 Special will leave LTT at 12.15 hrs every Friday from 28 October to 11 November and will reach Jaynagar at 3 hrs the next day. 05529 Special will leave Jaynagar every Tuesday from 25th October to 8th November at 11.50 pm and will arrive LTT at 1hrs on the third day. 05530 on special charges at all computerized reservation centers and website www. irctc. co. in will open on 30 September.
