
New Delhi: Voters Day will be celebrated on 25 January in the country. The preparations are at their peak. During this time, the Election Commission is also ready to give a big gift to the voters. Actually, the Digital Voter card will be launched in the country on 15 January. Voters will be able to download it just like Aadhaar. The Electronic Electors Photo Identity App (e-EPIC) will be launched by the Election Commission on Monday.
The information has been given that special procedure and some rules have to be followed for the use of e-Epic. For the digital voter card, the voter has to verify his complete information. With the mobile number of the voter, their email ID will also be mandatory.

Under the process, as soon as the mobile number of the voter is recorded in the Election Commission’s voter list, similarly through the app, he will receive mail and a message on the phone. In this, OTP will be provided as a password keeping security in mind. It will also have two QR codes. These will include complete information about the voters and complete information about the area.
The Election Commission will also continue the option of a hard copy of the voter ID card and will charge a fee of Rs 25. The Digital system will get rid of the hassle of losing cards and getting new cards, as well as the commission will also get relief from the delivery of the card.
