Dhoni accuses IPS officer of contempt of court, reached court in this matter

New Delhi: According to the news of other big news of the morning, former Indian cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni (MS Dhoni) has now reached the Madras High Court regarding the contempt action against IPS officer Sampat Kumar. In fact, in 2014, Dhoni filed a civil suit against the then IG Sampath Kumar. It was asked to ban IPS Sampath from making any statement related to Dhoni in the match-fixing case. Then Dhoni had also requested the court to direct him to pay Rs 100 crore as damages.

In fact, then the court, while ordering in March 2014, said that IG Sampath Kumar will not make any statement against Dhoni. But despite this, Sampath reportedly filed an affidavit with the court, in which derogatory remarks were made against Dhoni’s lawyer. Dhoni has also made a strong mention of Sampath’s statements in his petition.

Along with this, former Indian cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has demanded the court initiate contempt proceedings against Sampath and issue a summons to him. At the same time, the court has accepted Dhoni’s petition in the Madras High Court and has now listed the matter, but it could not be heard on Friday.
