New Delhi: The delta form of the virus was found in at least 80 percent of the samples sent by the Delhi government for genome series in the last three months. This information has come to the fore in official figures.
According to the data shared by the health department during a meeting of the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), Delhi had 83.3 percent of the samples sent for genome series in July, 88.6 of the samples sent in June, while The delta form of the virus was identified in 81.7 percent of the samples sent in May.
According to the data, this pattern was found in 53.9 percent of the samples sent in April.
