The new director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Dr. Rochelle Valensky, said that experts in infectious diseases believe that the death toll will start to decline soon. But at the same time, there is a fear that people may lose due to reduced cases and fewer patients being admitted to hospitals. Dr. Rochelle Valensky said in an interview with AP on Thursday, “We are still in a bad state.” On Wednesday, 3,912 people died from Covid-19 in the country. On January 12, 4,466 people died here from Covid-19.
