Mumbai: According to big news, former Tata Sons chairman Cyrus Mistry has passed away. He died in a road accident in Palghar near Mumbai (Cyrus Mistry Died in a Road Accident). This information has been given by Palghar District Superintendent. After the accident, Cyrus Mistry died on the spot. Cyrus Mistry was the chairman of Tata Industries Group in 2019.
Palghar Superintendent of Police said that Mistry was coming from Ahmedabad to Mumbai at around 3.30 pm today when the accident happened. He was traveling in a Mercedes car. He said that the accident happened due to the car hitting the divider. Four people were present in the car, in this accident two people died on the spot, whereas, two people have been admitted to the hospital. He also informed that the police are investigating further in this regard.
According to eyewitnesses, there was a divider on the first bridge of the river, the car was at a very high speed and suddenly it uncontrollably collided with the divider, and Cyrus, who was sitting in the car, died. His father Pallonji Mistry passed away earlier this year.
Two other people traveling with Mistry were injured in the accident, including the driver of the car. All the injured have been admitted to a hospital in Gujarat. The Superintendent of Police said that efforts would be made to gather more information about the accident from the injured. An official of the Kasa police station said that the accident took place at Charoti Naka on the Surya river bridge in the Kasa police station area. Mistry’s body has been sent to Casa Rural Hospital for postmortem.
