Coronavirus: Three patients died in Maharashtra and more than 1000 active cases in Mumbai

Mumbai: Coronavirus cases are increasing rapidly in the country. Most of the cases are coming up in Maharashtra. More than 500 new patients are coming here every day. According to the latest bulletin released by the Health Department on Sunday, 562 new cases of corona infection have been reported in the state in the last 24 hours. Whereas, three patients have died due to the epidemic.

According to the Health Department, 395 corona patients who were cured in the last 24 hours in the state, have been discharged from the hospital. With this, the number of patients recovering from corona has increased to 79,93,410 in the state. At the same time, the recovery rate from Corona in the state remains at 98.13%. The death rate in the state is 1.82%. The total number of infected people in the state has increased to 81,44,780. While the death toll has reached 1,48,444.

Significantly, a day earlier i.e. on Saturday, 669 new cases of the corona were reported in Maharashtra. Whereas, 425 cases were registered on Friday and 694 on Thursday.

Active cases crossed 1000 in Mumbai
Corona cases are continuously increasing in Mumbai. In the last 24 hours, 172 new cases have been reported in Mayanagari. After which the number of infected in the city increased to 1,157,454. Whereas, the death toll remains stable at 19,747. Today 123 people have recovered from the virus in the city. With this, the number of people recovering from the epidemic has increased to 1,136,637. At present, there are 1070 active patients in the city. There are 83 corona patients admitted in various hospitals in Mumbai, out of which 25 are on oxygen.
