This is the fifth consecutive day that more than 15 thousand cases of corona have been reported. According to the Health Department, 17,864 new cases were reported in the state on Monday, after which the total number of infected people has increased to 23,47,328. At the same time, 87 people have died from Corona in the last 24 hours. The death toll from Corona in the state has been pegged at 52,996.

This number is 290 more than on Monday. Within 24 hours 13,364 people were screened in the district. Testing has been extended following a directive issued by the government. In this, infection was confirmed in 1,921 people in the city and 664 in rural areas.
