Mumbai: The danger of corona is increasing continuously in Maharashtra. Due to which there is a possibility of the arrival of the third wave of the corona. Meanwhile, according to the data released by the State Health Department on Tuesday, 3 thousand 898 new cases of coronavirus infection have been reported in the last 24 hours, while 86 patients died. After which the total number of infected in the state has increased to 64 lakh 93 thousand 698 and the number of dead has increased to 1 lakh 37 thousand 897.
At the same time, 5 thousand 581 people have defeated this dangerous disease in the last 24 hours in the state. After which the number of people who got cured increased to 63 lakh 04 thousand 336. The recovery rate was 97.08 and the death rate was 2.12 percent in the state today.
At present, there are 47 thousand 926 active cases in the state and all are undergoing treatment. While 3 lakh 06 thousand 524 are in-home quarantine and 2 thousand 021 people are in institutional quarantine.
Significantly, on Monday, 3 thousand 626 new cases of the corona were reported in the state. While 37 infected had died. However, the good thing is that 5 thousand 988 people were cured of the corona.
Fall again in Mumbai
In the capital Mumbai, 353 new cases have been reported in the last 24 hours, while 2 patients have died. Apart from this, 404 people were cured of the corona. Here the recovery rate was recorded at 97% even today.
At the same time, the total number of infected people in Mumbai has increased to 7 lakh 47 thousand 078 and the total number of dead has increased to 16 thousand. A total of 7 lakh 24 thousand 898 people have been cured in Mumbai so far. At present, 3 thousand 718 patients are being treated in Mumbai.
Third-wave begins in Nagpur
The danger of corona has increased in the sub-capital Nagpur. The cases of corona are increasing continuously in the district for the last three years. In the last 24 hours, 18 corona-positive cases have been found here. In which 8 patients from the city and 10 from rural are included. However, the good thing is that not a single death has occurred in the district.
At the same time, 09 people have been cured of corona in the last 24 hours in the district. After which the number of people who have been cured has increased to 4 lakh 82 thousand 906. While the total number of infected and dead has increased to 49 lakh 3 thousand 090 and 10 thousand 119 respectively. At present, there are 65 active cases in the district. Of which 46 are cities, 15 are rural and 4 are from outside districts.
Corona test of 4 thousand 534 people was done in the district today, out of which 3 thousand 559 are from the city and 975 people are from rural.
It is to be known that Nitin Raut said in a statement that the third wave of Kovid has started in Nagpur. Due to which there has been a spurt in positive cases of corona for the last few days. He said that out of 13 people found corona infected, 12 have got the vaccine.
Raut said that the cases of corona have now doubled. Soon a meeting will be held with the disaster management regarding this. He said that a decision has been taken to impose some restrictions but for this talks will be held with the people’s representatives and a final decision will be taken.
