New Delhi: The growth rate of Covid-19 is expected to increase rapidly in the coming few days in India. This corona explosion will be for some time, but it can spread very fast. Omicron Alert, which is very rapidly infected, can become a cause of concern in India because the population here is about 140 crores. Professor Paul Kattuman of the University of Cambridge’s Judge Business School, who developed the Covid-19 India Tracker, expressed this apprehension in his email.
He said that the corona explosion in India can be for a short time, but in such a time, the daily cases will increase very rapidly. Professor Paul Kattuman and his team have said that from this week the cases of new infections will start increasing. However, he said that it is difficult to predict how many cases can come every day. He said that the whole of India is seeing a sharp increase in the infection rate. The Covid-19 India Tracker, created by Prof Paul and his team, has expressed particular concern for six states of the country.
Possible increase in the number of corona cases very fast
It has been said that by December 24, new cases can increase by 5 percent. The infection can spread to 11 states of India till December 26. Accordingly, the effect can increase according to the days of the week. After this, the number of corona cases can increase very rapidly. Significantly, so far 480290 people have died due to infection in India, and lakhs of people have been infected. In the country, people of many states have also been infected with the new variant of the coronavirus, Omicron. Right now 653 cases have been found in the country, but this variant spreads very fast, in view of this, caution is being taken.
India increased vigilance, took policy decisions
India has now added teenagers to its vaccination campaign by increasing vigilance and has also approved two new vaccines and an anti-viral pill on Tuesday. India has taken several policy decisions while learning lessons from the eye wave during April-May due to the delta variant of the coronavirus. At one time there were more than 4 lakh daily cases in the country during the wave.
