
New Delhi: Coronavirus infection cases in the country (India) exceeded 65 lakhs while the number of people recovering also exceeded 55 lakhs. With this, the rate of recovery from this infection in the country has been 84.13 percent. According to the latest data released by the Union Health Ministry till eight o’clock on Sunday morning, 940 people died due to infection in the last 24 hours, raising the number of dead to 1,01,782.

At the same time, 75,829 people have been found infected in a day and after that, the number of infected has increased to 65,49,373. At the same time, the number of healthy people according to the figures is 55,09,966. Currently, 9,37,625 Covid-19 patients are being treated in the country, which is 14.32% of the total cases. The Covid-19 death rate has now come down to 1.55 per cent.
Coronavirus infection cases in the country crossed the 2 million mark on August 7. After this, the figure crossed 30 lakh on 23 August and 40 lakh on 5 September. At the same time, it crossed 50 lakh on 16 September and 60 lakh on 28 September. According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), till October 3, 7,89,92,534 samples have been tested, while 11,42,131 samples were tested on Saturday.
