Corona also overshadowed Taj, now closed until May 15

Agra: The shadow of Corona’s growing infection will now be seen at the Taj Mahal as well. To prevent the infection of Corona, the Archaeological Survey Department has now decided that the Taj Mahal, Sikandra, Agra Fort, and other monuments will be closed to tourists till May 15. Significantly, in view of the fast-spreading corona infection in other parts of the country including Agra, night curfew has been imposed at many places and full lockdown for a few days.

In Taj Nagari Agra, the growing cases of corona have created a stir among the top officers sitting in the district and in the government. In view of the continuously getting infected patients in Agra, the district administration has imposed a night curfew here on Monday. At the same time, for any event, 100 people will not be able to gather in the open space and more than 50 people in the closed space. Night curfew will remain in force till 20 April.

Significantly, the condition of Corona in Uttar Pradesh is seen to be uncontrollable. In the last 24 hours, 22,439 newly infected patients have been found. With this, there have been 1,29,848 active cases in the state. Additional Chief Secretary of Health Department Mohan Prasad said that 9480 people have died due to infection so far. At the same time, 2,06,517 samples have been examined in the last one day, on the other hand there were 4222 people who have returned home from the hospital after getting healthier.

On the same day, 20,510 corona infected cases were found in the state. In the wake of Corona’s increasing infection, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took many big and important decisions on Thursday for effective control over the epidemic. Night curfew has been changed in those 10 districts where more than 2000 cases are being reported every day. There will be night curfew in these districts from 8 o’clock in the morning to 7 o’clock in the morning.
