Colonel Kirori Singh Bainsla was born in Mundia village in the Karauli district of Rajasthan. Due to this he also joined the army as a soldier. It should also be known that Bainsla was recruited in the Rajputana Rifles of the army and while in the army fought bravely for the country in the Indo-China war of 1962 and the Indo-Pakistan war of 1965.
