CM Yogi visit to Ayodhya

Ayodhya: After becoming the Chief Minister of UP again, Yogi Adityanath reached the city of Ram for the first time. During this, he has given a big gift to Ayodhya during the review meeting of the Board. Yogi has banned the collection of tax from the monasteries, temples, and religious places of Ayodhya Municipal Corporation. With this, it has become clear that commercial tax will no longer be charged from monasteries, temples, and religious places in the city of Ram. In fact, after the formation of the Municipal Corporation of Ayodhya, the tax on temples was coming in lakhs. The Dharmacharyas of the Maths and temples had lodged several complaints with the Chief Minister regarding this. At the same time, today all the Chief Ministers are very happy with the big gift.

However, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached Ayodhya today and paid obeisance at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi along with the historic Hanumangarhi. He met Nritya Gopal Das, President of the temple trust, Peethadheeshwar Kaushal Kishore of Bhaktmal, and other saints, and after that reviewed the preparations for the celebration of the first Ram Navami after the Bhoomipujan / foundation stone of the Ram temple. Through a meeting with the saint and the Dharmacharya, he learned his desire for the development of Ayodhya and also took suggestions on many aspects. After this, Yogi also held a review meeting of high officials in the Ramkatha Museum. During this, he gave clear instructions to the Municipal Corporation that now no tax will be charged from monasteries, temples, and religious places. Along with this, he also instructed the officials that this time Shri Ram Janmotsav should be celebrated in a very divine and grand manner.

Dharmacharya had been demanding for a long time
Let us inform you that since Ayodhya Municipal Corporation has been formed after Ayodhya Municipality, since then there has been a heavy tax on monasteries and temples too. Regarding this, the religious leaders of the monasteries and temples had demanded from Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath many times that the tax should not be imposed. At the same time, the Chief Minister, who reached Ayodhya for the first time during his second term, has given a new gift to the city of temples and idols. Since then the saint Mahant of Ayodhya is excited.

CM Yogi visit to Ayodhya

Rishikesh Upadhyay, Mayor of Ayodhya Municipal Corporation, told that after the formation of the Bharatiya Janata Party government again, it was the first arrival of the Chief Minister. The Chief Minister himself is a saint and this is a city of saints. Today, the CM has instructed all the officers that the monasteries, temples, and Dharamsala should be taxed in the form of charitable, but commercial tax should not be taken. Due to this, there is a wave of happiness among the saints and soon we will pass this in the house. Also said that there are 8 thousand monasteries and temples in Ayodhya. We will pass a resolution to waive everyone’s tax from the House.

Mahant Raju Das of Hanumangarhi said that many thanks to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Also said that our Gurudev had told the Chief Minister many times, to waive the tax of the Math temples of Ayodhya. Earlier the situation was that an annual tax of Rs 250 to Rs 300 was charged, but since the Municipal Corporation was formed, one lakh in some temples and 3 lakh in others. From where could the saints pay this tax? There was immense pain among the sages about this. Chief Minister Yogi has listened to everyone’s pain and has announced waiving the tax.
