New Delhi: Commander-level talks have been held several times between India and China to reduce tension on the Line of Actual Control / LAC. India is negotiating with China on several levels including diplomatic and military levels. Special representatives of both countries, including National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and their Chinese counterparts, have held talks on LAC to resolve the issue of military construction.

Sources told, ‘During the recent talks, the Indian side told China that under the guise of a military exercise, they had prepared a large number of munitions with a large deployment of troops on the LAC in eastern Ladakh. The Indian side also raised the issue of obstructing the patrolling of the Indian Army from the Petroling Point 10 of the Chinese Army.
