New Delhi: According to the news coming from the capital Delhi, in view of the pollution in the Yamuna river here, the NGT has now categorically refused permission to organize Chhath Puja. After this, there will be no Chhath Puja at the Ghat of Yamuna in Delhi.

It is worth noting that this time the artificial ghats built on the banks of Yamuna will be able to worship, and devotees will also be able to worship thereby standing in the water, but no one will be allowed to go into the water of the river. On the matter, a Delhi government official said that this is being done because there is a swamp on many ghats of Yamuna, which may cause trouble for the devotees to reach there. On Thursday, Revenue Minister Gehlot had a review meeting with the concerned officials regarding Chhath preparations.

On the other hand, Minister Kailash Gehlot, while reviewing the preparations for organizing Chhath Puja in Delhi on Thursday, had directed the officials to ensure smooth management at all 1100 places of Chhath Puja celebrations in Delhi so that the devotees do not face any problem.
