CBSE Board Exam Pattern Changed

New Delhi: The CBSE board exam will be conducted twice in the next year (2022). The exam pattern has been changed. The exam has more focus on MCQs, application-based questions. The exam will be held in two terms. It will be in the month of November first. Students appearing in the 10th and 12th board exams will have to make changes in their preparations according to the new exam pattern.

MCQs of 40 Marks is expected to be asked in the question papers. In the first term, only 50% of the syllabus will be asked. The final mark sheet of the students will be prepared by combining the numbers of both the term and the internal assessment. English teacher Sumita Vij said that she has asked her students to read NCERT books. According to Vij, the MCQs appearing in the board exams will be from only the syllabus or the NCERT syllabus. He said that there is no negative marking in the CBSE board exams. So students should attempt all the MCQ questions.

The most common mistake students make is to confuse between similar-looking options. Head of Khaitan Public School Ghaziabad Rishika Sharma said that read all the options carefully. There may be some similarities in the options at times. She said that one should practice solving questions during their preparation in the time period of board exams.

Let us tell you that the CBSE board has prepared the practice sample papers based on the new guidelines. Students can practice on the basis of those sample papers. The final date sheet is also expected to release this month.
