CBI arrested Anand Subramaniam, former Group Operating Officer of NSE

New Delhi: According to the big news of the morning, CBI has arrested former NSE Group Operating Officer Anand Subramaniam from Chennai today i.e. Friday. Significantly, CBI has arrested Subramaniam since last week. Then a stockbroker had made allegations of irregularities, in respect of which the CBI had questioned Anand Subramaniam.

At the same time, in the report of news agency PTI, it was also told, quoting his officials, that Subramaniam has been questioned by CBI officials in Chennai for about three days. During this, an attempt was also made to know from him how he got the appointment as the Group Operating Officer of NSE. Apart from this, intensive inquiries were also made about his association with the then Managing Director and CEO Chitra Ramakrishna.

Significantly, there is also a serious allegation against Anand Subramaniam that he used to interfere a lot in the working of NSE. He used to give advice to the former CEO of NSE and she also used to work at his behest. Along with this, according to other media reports, such headlines also persisted that Chitra Ramakrishna used to take necessary help in her work from a yogi living in the Himalayas. Later other such reports also came that he was none other than Yogi but Anand Subramaniam. However, Navbharat does not confirm any such news.

Let us tell you that on the basis of the 192-page report of SEBI, CBI had also registered a case against Chitra. SEBI had made a big and serious allegation in the report that Chitra had also shared confidential information of NSE with one of the yogis of the Himalayas.
