Mumbai: The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), investigating the Sushant Singh Rajput Death Case from Drugs Connection in Bollywood, on Monday raided the Mumbai home of actor Arjun Rampal. Now NCB officials have spoken about sending summons to Arjun Rampal. That is, now in this case NCB will seek a reply from Arjun. An NCB team conducted a search operation in the house and office of Arjun Rampal this (Monday) morning itself. According to NCB sources, Arjun Rampal’s driver has been taken into custody.
NNI’s tweet has confirmed that a summons has been sent to Arjun and now he will have to appear before the authorities in this matter soon and answer his questions. Before Arjun, in the drug case, the NCB has called actresses like Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan for questioning. Arjun’s name has also been mentioned many times in this case but now for the first time NCB has taken action against him in this case.
Let me remind you that earlier, the NCB once again detained Agisiyalos, the brother of Grabriella Demetriades, Arjun Rampal’s girlfriend, on charges of possession and sale of drugs. It is reported that Agiciallos was granted bail in the case, shortly after which the NCB remanded him in custody. Apart from this, NCB has also arrested Kshitij Prasad, former executive producer of Dharma Productions, in another case.
On Sunday, the Narcotics Control Bureau raided the house of Feroz Nadiadwala, producer of films like ‘Phir Hera Pheri’ and ‘Welcome Back’, at Bollywood’s Drugs Connection. In this raid, about 10 grams of cannabis and three mobile phones have been seized from Nadiadwala’s house. In the presence of two witnesses, Feroze’s wife Shabana Saeed has been arrested by the NCB.
