Britain: From Corona to China, this time the whole world has stood up against the border disputes. In this episode, on Tuesday, Britain has banned Chinese company Huawei technology. After this ban, Huawei will not be able to do its 5G business in Britain for the next seven years. The ban has been imposed at the behest of British Prime Minister Boris Johnson. It is believed that Britain has taken this decision under pressure from US President Donald Trump. The UK government has asked domestic telecom companies to remove all the devices of Chinese company Huawei from their 5G network by 2027.

The decision was made after a review of the new US sanctions imposed on Huawei in May at an NCSC meeting chaired by Prime Minister Boris Johnson. With these new restrictions, the Chinese company cannot acquire products based on American semiconductor technology. After this ban of Britain, Huawei’s goods will be completely removed from its network. At the same time, after 31 December 2020, the purchase of any new 5G kit will be completely banned. Britain’s Digital, Cultural, Media and Sports Secretary Oliver Dowden said that 5G will be the changing technology for our country. But this will be possible only when we have complete confidence in the infrastructure built for it and we are confident about its safety. He said that after the US sanctions on Huawei, on the advice of our cyber experts, the government has decided to ban Huawei for our 5G network. After January 2021, no new 5G kit will be added to the UK 5G network. At the same time, by 2027 the country’s 5G network will be free from Huawei.

Government will make this ban as law

Dowden said that by the next general election (2024), the government will make this ban a law so that the way to completely remove Huawei from our 5G network can be cleared. Britain’s ban on Huawei is being seen as a major success of the Donald Trump government of America. Expressing disappointment over this decision of the UK, Huawei said in a statement issued in Beijing that this is bad news for anyone who owns a mobile phone in Britain. This is a disappointing decision. It is a decision to push Britain on a slow digital path, increase the digital divide and move towards expensive bills. Explain that in January this year, the UK government had said that Huawei will be excluded from the sensitive core of the 5G network and its participation in other areas will be just 35 percent, but now the government has changed its decision.
