New Delhi: The orgy of Coronavirus Pandemic continues in the country. In the midst of rising Covid cases, booster doses are being started in the country from today. Want to tell you that today health care workers and 60+ who have any serious disease in the country will be given the third dose of the vaccine. The country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced last month’s precautionary dose.
It is to be known that the booster dose was named ‘Precaution Dose’ by PM Modi. This dose is being taken at a time when the cases of Corona and Omicron are increasing very fast in the country. Regarding this, the Ministry of Health has already made it clear that there is no need for registration for this, they are eligible, they can directly take an appointment or go to any vaccination center.
It is noteworthy that along with health-frontline workers, people above 60 years of age who have other diseases including diabetes, hypertension, such people can also take a booster dose on the advice of their doctor. For this, the eligible people will be given a precautionary dose only after 9 months of taking the second dose of the corona vaccine.
It should be noted that the Center has made it clear that those who are going to get the booster dose, will be given the same vaccine whose first two doses have been received. This means that if you have got Covaccine, then you will get its third dose again.
