New Delhi: The legendary sprinter Milkha Singh, popularly known as the ‘Flying Sikh’ of India, has sadly passed away. He was 91 years old. Milkha Singh was infected with the coronavirus. Because of which he was admitted to the hospital. Milkha Singh breathed his last at Chandigarh’s PGI Hospital after a month-long battle with the coronavirus. Let us tell you that a four-time Asian Games gold medalist, Milkha had also won the yellow metal in the 1958 Commonwealth Games. His best performance, however, was at the 1960 Rome Olympics in which he finished fourth in the 400 m final.
